I went to RPS (Rosedale Primary School) and i loved it there. RPS is located in Central Gippsland between Traralgon and Sale on the outskirts of the town of Rosedale. The school provides a safe, secure and stimulating learning environment in which a strong educational partnership is promoted between students, staff and parents. The school prides itself on playing an important role in the community. They have a keen staff committed to the implementation of innovative teaching programs that cater's for individual student learning needs. They provide classes such as literacy and numeracy as well as Information, Communications Technology. Specialist programs are provided for all students in Physical Education, Visual Arts, our Growing for Life environmental program and cooking in our new state of the art cookery centre. They have updated the school since the 1970's and the Staff opinion reflects high levels of satisfaction with all aspects of the school and student learning. Parents acknowledged a high level of satisfaction in all areas of the school climate, with positive responses about school connectedness, learning focus and parent general satisfaction being in the top 25% of all schools in the state.
